Characterization of RNase a using sec with laser light-scattering, UV, and RI detection modes
2002
A small protein, RNase A, was characterized by size-exclusion chromatography (SEC) using static and dynamic laser light-scattering (LLS) detection in combination with refractive index (RJ) and ultraviolet (UV) detection modes. This information-rich detection scheme enabled the nondestructive determination of the molecular weight (MW) and size of the protein, aggregations, and impurities independent of elution time.
