Роль дискурсивного анализа для определения жанра англоязычной фантастической литературы

The article describes advantages of the componential analysis for defining literature genres. Speculative fiction is chosen for demonstrating this king of analysis. The author names peculiarities of speculative fiction genres, such as science fiction, fantasy and mystery. The article has the definition and the classification of speculative fiction discourse and points out its components. Historical development of contensive and dispositive components of science fiction, fantasy and mystery discourses as well as their role for defining speculative fiction genres is given. The author also divides science fiction contensive component into inventive and social and describes their interaction within a science fiction stories. As an example the author names a number of English and American speculative fiction stories of the XIX-XX centuries by world famous writers such as I. Asimov, R. Bradbury, E.A. Po, C.S. Lewis etc.
