1,2,4-Triazoles, II Synthesis of 1,5-diphenyl-3-trifluoromethyl-1H-1,2,4-triazoles

Reaction of substituted phenylhydrazines1 a–f with methyl trifluoroacetimidate2 gives via the amidrazones3 after treatment with benzoyl chlorides4 the triazoles5 a–f which showed an anti-inflammatory effect.
