The third volume of the legal writings of Piero Calamandrei contains many of the ideas born out of his active participation in the Assembly which voted the new Italian Constitution of 1948, among which the works devoted to the rule of law, freedom of the press, the right to strike, the procedures through which to access the Constitutional court.
