Clinical Progresses of Nuclear Cardiac Imaging in Acute Coronary Syndrome

With the development of new techniques of nuclear myocardial perfusion imaging(MPI) and the appearance of new imaging radiotracers,MPI takes an increasing role in the diagnosis,risk stratification,management and hospital-leaving arrangements of patients with acute coronary syndrome.The new ACC/AHA guidelines of AMI,unstable angina/non ST segment elevation AMI and cardiac radionuclide imaging have all stressed the clinical value of MPI.
