Rentabilización de los tratamientos acústicos absorbentes

It has been found many design deficiencies in executed absorbent acoustical treatments. In some occasions their intrinsecal acoustical characteristics are not adequate for the frequency range they are prepared and more, the layer thickness of the devices are overestimated, which involves a higher price of the product. In Tecniacustica 2000, the authors described the general aspect of the topic. In the present paper, it will be explained the existence of an asymptotic value of the absorption coefficient function α (f) for a given absorbing material, in function of the layer thickness. Based on this fact, it is possible to define a critical thickness, that optimises the acoustic absorption of the device. To increase this value of the layer, has a consequence an unnecessary waste of absorbent material.
