The Detectors of Satellite Laser Ranging in Yunnan Observatory

The detectors of satellite laser ranging (SLR) system in Yunnan Observatory are presented in this paper.The new detector CSPAD is compared with the old detector MCP for near and longdistance targets. Their characteristics and performances are analyzed.The CSPAD has highest accuracy for SLR.Moreover, the status of SLR in Yunnan Observatory in recent years are presented.According to the data obtaining from GPS 35?36,the SLR system in Yunnan possesses the capability for longdistance objects.It will be basic to further development of longdistance laser ranging.
