For the dapC gene coding nucleotide sequences and methods for producing L-lysine

2000
The invention relates to an isolated polynucleotide from coryneform bacteria, comprising at least one polynucleotide sequence selected from the group DOLLAR A a) polynucleotide which is at least 70% identical to a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide having the amino acid sequence according to SEQ ID No. contains 2, DOLLAR A b) polynucleotide which codes for a polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence identical to at least 70% with the amino acid sequence according to SEQ ID No. 2, DOLLAR A c) polynucleotide which is complementary to the polynucleotides of a) or b), or DOLLAR A d) polynucleotide containing at least 15 consecutive nucleotides of the polynucleotide sequence of a), b) or c), DOLLAR A and method which is characterized for the fermentative production of L-amino acids, especially L-lysine, that, in the coryneform microorganisms which in particular already produce L-amino acid, DOLLAR A a) amplifies at least the gene coding for the dapC gene nucleotide sequence, in particular over-expressed DOLLAR A b) enriching the desired L-amino acid in the medium or in the cells of the bacteria and DOLLAR A c) the desired L-amino acid is isolated.
