Effects of combined application with different ratios of organic fertilizers on photosynthesis, yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco

2009
In this experiment, different fertilizer treatments were applied on flue-cured tobacco planted in paddy soil to study the effects of combined application of inorganic and organic fertilizers on the photosynthesis, yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco. The results showed that 30% of organic-N fertilizer in total N application was very suitable for improving photosynthesis of tobacco, making nitrogen metabolism weak at the later stage, increasing C / N rate and improving carbon-nitrogen metabolism. Moreover, the yield of flue-cured tobacco was increased by 8.1% compared to the chemical fer-tilizer treatment;the total sugar, reducing sugar, nicotine, protein and other main chemical components tended to coordinate in a range of high-quality content in flue-cured tobacco. However, when the application of organic fertilizer was in excess,it would had adverse influences on the yield and quality of flue-cured tobacco.
