Effect of combined application of N,P and K fertilizers on Brassica parachinensis growth and soil nutrient status

2011
The optimized fertilization for Brassica parachinensis was studied by the "3414" experiment based on soil testing and formulated fertilization, and the related indexes such as yield, quality and soil nutrients were investigated. The results indicated that the best combined application scheme of N,P,and K fertilizers was N 8.00 kg/667m2,P2O5 1.00 kg/667m2 and K2O 4.00 kg/667m2,by which the highest yield and higher amino acid and moderate nitrate contents were got.The amino acid contents of Brassica parachinensis and soil alkali-hydrolyzable N could be improved by utilizing N fertilizer, meanwhile the nitrate content of Brassica parachinensis could be increased. However, for the K fertilizer the situation was different, the nitrate content of the plant could be reduced by applying K fertilizer,in addition, the contents of amino acid of the plant and soil available K were improved.
