Light source assembly and backlight module

The invention provides a light source assembly and a backlight module. The light source assembly comprises a lamp strip and a distance piece. The lamp strip comprises a circuit board and a plurality of LEDs (Light-emitting Didoe). The LEDs are arranged on the surface of the circuit board, and each LED is provided with a light-emitting side. The distance piece is used for being fixed on the lamp strip and consists of a base and an extension part. The extension part is erected on the base, and consists of a first side and a second side which are opposite to each other. The second side is attached to the surface of the circuit board. The distance from the first side to the second side is greater than that from each light-emitting side to the surface of the circuit board. The distance piece is integrally formed, and therefore, not only can the manufacturing cost and working time be reduced, but also the time for assembling the backlight module and the number of re-assembling times can be greatly shortened and decreased.
