Method for detecting solid content of thick liquids

2013
A disclosed method for detecting solid content of thick liquids comprises the following steps: weighing paper put in a dryer in advance for balance, recording the weight as M1; selecting an openmouthed square box , folding the paper to form a paper groove and putting in the openmouthed square box; filling a thick-liquid sample bottle with a to-be detected thick liquid, sealing and weighing, and recording the weight as M2; opening the bottle mount, pouring 10 +/- 2 g of the to-be detected thick liquid into the paper grove, sealing the bottle, weighing the total weight of the residual thick liquid and the bottle and recording as M3; uniformly spreading the thick liquid on the paper groove, putting in a ventilated place to volatilize gasoline; after the thick liquid is dried thoroughly, putting in the dryer and balancing for 15 min, and weighing and recording the weight as M4; and according to an equation to calculate the solid content X of the thick liquid. The equation is shown in the specification. According to the method for detecting solid content of the thick liquids, only 5-20 g of the thick liquid is needed as a sample, the detection time is 20-60 min (based on the solvent volatilization speed, the sample weight and the environment temperature), the volatilized amount of a flammable solvent is less, no solids are lost in the process, drying is relatively thorough, and the measure error is small.
