The method comprises the steps that the transformer substation is modeled, and a three-dimensional device scene of the transformer substation is generated; a three-dimensional digital inspection tour route of the transformer substation is generated by editing in the three-dimensional device scene of the transformer substation; the three-dimensional digital inspection tour route of the transformer substation is selected and executed, inspection tour nodes are processed, and an inspection is completed. According to the method disclosed by the invention, on the basis of the three-dimensional live-action of the transformer substation, an inspection tour process is shown vividly and intuitively according to the three-dimensional digital inspection tour route of the transformer substation to help a user to realize the remote inspection tour of the transformer substation.
