Composit of betulin with known in pharmacology polymerpolyethylene glycol (PEG), were prepared with the help of mechanochemical methods. Аcute renal failure caused by surgical removal of the kidney in a single step. As used betulin enteral tread obtained by the original method, and the powder was mechanically activated composite PEGylated betulin (ratio of betulin to PEG ratio was 1: 9, by weight) obtained by mechanical activation mill Spex 8000 (US). On the model of acute renal failure in rats, it is shown that betulin and mechanoactivated composite of betulin with polyethylene glycol (PEG) increased the actual survival of animals. Increasing the life expectancy of rats fed with composite betulin with PEG, was almost 2 times higher than that of the group receiving pure betulin. In acute renal failure betulin composite reduces the concentration of lactate and increases blood oxygenation. It was found that the composite betulin with PEG can be used to correct acid-alkaline balance of living organisms.
