angular anisotropy of the effective gfactor of Cu 2+ ions in both compounds show that distortions of the initial structure caused by deuteration are minimum. A comparative analysis of the width of the exchange coupled EPR lines of the two compounds is indicative of a decrease in the exchange parameter in the deuterated sam� ple, which substantiates the participation of Hbonds in exchange interactions in the systems studied.
