Draining principles and treatment of water used in the Lorraine mining basin; Principes d`exhaure et de traitement des eaux chargees aux houilleres du bassin de Lorraine

In the Lorraine mining basin two types of water treatment units can be distinguished: on the one hand, plants for treatment of water used in mining operations, and on the other, waste waters from the main drainage around the pits. The system for treating waste waters from the shaft bottom in the Lorraine mining basin can be divided into two types of treatment following the direction of the discharge: plants for treatment of water used in mining operations and waste waters from the main drainage around the pits.
