Method of producing an electrode material for an electrochemical device and an electrochemical device

2006
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode material which is advantageous for thinning an electrode and decreasing the resistance thereof, and to provide its production process. SOLUTION: The electrode material contains bacteria cellulose fibers rendered conductive (through carbonization, for example), and especially it is composed of bacteria cellulose fiber simple substance. The bacteria cellulose fibers rendered conductive have a three-dimensional network structure and keeps sufficient strength even if it is made thin. Furthermore, no additive is required for keeping the profile because of the continuous structure and the electric resistance is low. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
