Uma análise sobre os impactos ambientais de espécies exóticas no Bioma Pampa da proliferação ao controle necessário das populações de sus scrofa

2021
Nature has been changing in the face of human interference and these unthinking acts have caused damage to fauna and flora. An example is the insertion of exotic species into new habitats, forcing them to adapt and thus causing changes in the local cycle. Many species can transmit disease, damage agriculture and livestock, cause financial damage and even alter the food chain. In the case of the species Sus scrofa (wild boar), originating in Europe and introduced in Brazil in the years 1904 and 1906, it became a threat to biodiversity, as it expanded to several states in Brazil, mainly Rio Grande do Sul. This species is of environmental importance in order to avoid loss of biodiversity, economically reducing losses mainly in the agricultural and social sector due to bacteria and viruses. Based on the growing population of wild boars it was proposed to identify the environmental impacts caused in the region of Bage, to verify occurrences and damages in the local agriculture, as well as what has been done for the effective control of the species. To obtain the results, data were collected through articles, online documents and data obtained through public agencies, such as Ibama, Secretariat of the Environment, among others. The present work is characterized as a case study, based on an exploratory research based on the qualitative method, which allows greater flexibility during the research. As control method was identified the release of wild boar hunting from a Federal Technical Registry and the proper certification. It was also found that there are no records of data related to damage caused to local agriculture.
