A simplified benzoylation-diazonium coupling sequence for demonstrating conjugated proteins.
1970
A simple method for demonstrating conjugated proteins was developed from a benzoylation-diazonium coupling sequence described by Barnard and Danielli (1956). The procedure combines anhydrous fixation and benzoylation with staining in a solution of fast black K salt. Advantages of the method include reliability after simple fixation and rapid staining in a single step at room temperature.
