The Venous Blood-Brain Barrier
1983
There is no morphological evidence that the permeability of cerebral veins essentially differs from that of capillaries and arterial vessels under normal conditions. No quantitative data are available regarding the leakage of substances through the blood-brain barrier in, various sections of the vascular tree under pathological conditions. A survey on previous publications of the author and on related literature is given.
