A connecting device (21) of a lever (12, 12a) is fixed in rotation to a wiper arm (16). Arms (22) of the lever (12, 12a) are positioned on the longitudinal sides, respectively, of the connecting device (21) and extend in the longitudinal direction of a wiper strip (14). Each arm (22) of the lever (12, 12a) comprises a holding portion (23) which is provided in a longitudinal distal end of the arm (22) to hold the wiper strip (14) together with the plates support (15). The holding portion (23) of each arm (22) of the lever (12, 12a) is positioned at an intermediate position between the connecting device (21) and one longitudinal end (14b, 14c) corresponding to the wiper strip screen wiper (14).
