The present technique pertains to a lens array, a method for manufacturing same, a solid imaging device, and an electronic device by which it is possible to improve AF characteristics with only minimal deterioration in image quality. The lens array is provided with microlenses formed to correspond to phase-shift detection pixels provided in imaging pixels. The lens surface of the microlens is substantially spherical, the microlens has a rectangular shape in a plan view, and the four corners of the rectangle are not formed at a sharp angle. In a cross-sectional view, the bottom surface in the vicinity of an opposing side boundary portion including an opposing side center portion of a pixel boundary portion is formed to be higher than the bottom surface in the vicinity of an opposing corner boundary portion including the opposing corner boundary portion. The present technique can be applied to a lens array of a CMOS image sensor, for example.
