Crystal structures of the new BETS - based organic metals : α-(BETS)2TlHg(SeCN)4 and κ-(BETS)2C(CN)3

Abstract X-ray studies of the α -(BETS) 2 TlHg(SeCN) 4 and κ -(BETS) 2 C(CN) 3 single crystals have been carried out. Both radical cation salts exhibit metallic properties down to T=1.3K. Their crystal structures and transport properties are compared with those of the corresponding ET-based salts, α -(ET) 2 TlHg(SeCN) 4 and (ET) 2 C(CN) 3 .
