Introducing Cognitive Services

Azure Cognitive Services is a suite of services offered on Microsoft Azure that allows developers to integrate and embed AI capabilities within their applications. Microsoft Azure, for those new to cloud computing, is the overall brand for Microsoft’s cloud computing offerings. Azure’s AI capabilities allow users to see, hear, speak, search, understand, and accelerate decision making. Using Cognitive Services, you can detect emotion in customers’ faces using the Vision API, instantly analyze customer communication to quickly react to impending issues using Text Analytics within the Language API, and combine the Language and Speech APIs to communicate with a customer in their native language – and that’s just a taste of what can be done with Cognitive Services.
