Preparation method of clutch facing blank

The present invention relates to a preparation method of a clutch facing blank. The method includes using a wrapping machine to wrap rubber sheets prepared from rubber, a filler and a vulcanization agent on the surfaces of continuous glass fiber bundles impregnated with phenolic resin to get the glass fiber bundles wrapped with rubber, and finally winding to obtain the clutch facing blank. According to the preparation method of the present invention, the rubber does not need to be dissolved in an organic solvent such as gasoline to get a slurry, the use of organic solvents is prevented, the cost is saved, and the environmental pollution is reduced. Impregnating a layer of phenolic resin on the surfaces of the glass fiber bundles can make the fibers combine with rubber and other fillers closely. The rubber and the filler are mixed uniformly after banburying and coated on the surfaces of the fibers, so that the final product is stable in quality. Two processes of rubberizing and cutting are separated by the wrapping machine in the method. On rubberizing, an upper roller and a lower roller do not contact directly to prevent the abrasion of the rollers, therefore the service life of the wrapping machine is extended.
