Spinach is a popular salad vegetable providing significant amounts of vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium and iron. The present work was realized with the aim of assessing the effect of spacing and urea on growth, and yield of spinach in volcanic soils of Musanze, Northern Province of Rwanda. The present study was conducted in Main Agricultural Research Station, College of Agricultural, Animal Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine (CAVM) during the season 2013-2014 B. To achieve this objective, field experiment was established in a Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with 9 combinations treatments and 3 replications.
