Rod cluster simulator for simulating supercritical water-cooled reactor fuel element

2014
The utility model discloses a rod cluster simulator for simulating a supercritical water-cooled reactor fuel element. The rod cluster simulator comprises three main parts, namely a sealed insulating part, a ceramic liner pipe and a heating tube, wherein fission heat of the fuel element is simulated by electrifying the heating tube and generating heat, and related thermal-hydraulic characteristic research is performed; the sealed insulating part consists of a top high-pressure sealing flange, a sealed insulating spacer, a middle stainless steel outer tube and a bottom high-pressure sealing flange; the stainless steel tube is welded with the flange; the ceramic liner pipe is circular in exterior and square in interior, and four fillets exist in the inner square structure; the middle of the heating tube consists of four stainless steel tubes, a stainless steel electrode and a copper electrode are arranged on the top and at the bottom of the heating tube, respectively, and the heating tube is communicated with an alternating-current transformer so as to be heated through alternating current; the heating tube is inserted into the ceramic liner pipe, a gap between the heating tube and the ceramic liner pipe is a circulation channel, and fluid flows in the channel, so that heat of the heating tube is taken away; and the sealed insulating part is arranged on the outer layer of the ceramic tube and serves as a pressure boundary, and sealing and electric insulation effects under high temperature and high pressure conditions are achieved.
