Infrared Temperature on-line Monitoring of Substation Equipment Based on GSM Short Message Technology

The faults of the substation power equipments are mostly accompanied with the variation of temperature,and through detecting the temperature can find the faults timely.In view of this characteristic,a set of on-line detection devices were designed to detect the infrared temperature of every monitoring point in the substation.The GSM short message technology was used for the remote alarm and the stability and reliability of the system was proved by the actual operation.
