The invention provides a preparation method of chiral epoxy chloropropane, which comprises the following step: under the catalytic action of a chiral catalyst, carrying out asymmetric oxidation reaction on chloropropene hydrogen peroxide in an organic solvent to obtain the chiral epoxy chloropropane. The structure of the chiral catalyst is disclosed as Formula (I), wherein R1, R2 and R3 are independently selected from hydrogen, substituted or unsubstituted C1-C5 alkyl and aryl groups, or C1-C5 alkoxy groups, and the substituent groups on the C1-C5 alkyl groups are aryl groups. The yield and enantioselectivity of the preparation method are respectively greater than 80%. The method has the advantages of clean reaction, mild reaction conditions, high conversion rate and high selectivity, and has industrial prospects.
