IMPLANTACIÓN DEL PROGRAMA OFICIAL DE POSTGRADO "FARMACIA" EN LA UNIVERSIDAD DE SEVILLA

During the academic term 2007-08, the Official Post graduate Program of the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Sevilla (US) started. It consists of two Official Masters: “Pharmaceutical Care and Assistential Pharmacy” (AFFA) and “Science, Technology and Rational Drug Use” (CITURME). The first derives from a University-specific title (own title of the US), which formerly had the same denomination and was run by the Department of Pharmacology. The second Master results from the transformation of the Doctorate Program, granted wi th Quality Mention, “Pharmacy, Drug Sciences and Pharmaceutical Care”, which was organized by the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Technology of the US. The students that attend thes e courses have to earn 60 European credits choosing among mandatory and optional matters, from the total of 85 offered by each Master. Both Masters offer a professional and research approach and enable the s tudents to produce their Doctoral Thesis. However, both have different itineraries to be chosen by the students and include theoretical, but most of all practical teaching, working on numerous clinical ca ses, solving proposed problems, visiting specialize d centres and also workshops organized by the student s themselves. In its first edition it has been rate d very satisfactorily by the participating students and te achers.
