Office hysteroscopy without anesthesia allows diagnosis and treatment of endometrial pathology. Although generally well accepted by women, it can be associated with significant pain and anxiety, being the former the most important cause of failure. Parity, cervical synechiae, and longer waiting are some of the factors that have been more clearly associated with higher pain scores.
