Abstract The synthesis of vinylorganomagnesium compounds with N -benzyl- N -ethyl-3-amino-2-methyl-1-bromo-1-propene or with trans-N -benzyl- N -ethyl-1-bromol-1-propene is not stereospecific. The same reaction realised with the cis isomer gives two compounds: cis product and acetylene derivate.
