CT misdiagnosis of one case of solid pseudopapillary tumor of pancreas

Objective To analyze the CT features and misdiagnosis causes of solid pseudopapillary tumors of pancreas and to improve the diagnosis level. Methods The clinical data of 1 case solid pseudopapillary tumor of pancreas confirmed by surgery and pathology were retrospectively analyzed. Results CT found a large cystic mass in the tail of the pancreas, with progressive enhancement of the posterior capsule wall and the solid part but no enhancement in the cystic part. Conclusion The CT features of solid pseudopapillary tumors of pancreas are characteristic, which can help diagnose and reduce misdiagnosis.
