The invention belongs to the field of a workpiece machining process, in particular to a machining process of an ultra-large bearing ferrule blank. The machining process comprises the following steps: casting into a single circular cast ring piece by a conventional smelting and casting technology, and then directly machining the circular cast ring piece into the blank of a bearing ferrule by ring rolling at a ring rolling ratio of greater than 2 in a ring rolling molding working procedure; and then carrying out normalizing, quenching and tempering treatment of the bearing ferrule blank in the ring rolling molding working procedure so as to obtain the ultra-large bearing ferrule blank capable of meeting technical requirements. Compared with the traditional machining process of bearing ring forgings, the machining process has the advantages that: forging (or rolling) into a bar-sawing and blanking-bar section heating-forging-upsetting-ring rolling-secondary heating and other machining working procedures are omitted, the production cost can be substantially reduced, and the mechanical properties of the produced ultra-large bearing ferrule blank can meet the technical requirements of the ultra-large bearing ferrule blank.
