Synthesis and Optical Properties of Lead-Free Methylamine Bismuth Halide Perovskite Quantum Dots

2016
Through the co-LARP method, lead-free MA 3 Bi 2 Br 9 perovskite quantum dots is successfully fabricated, reaching a PLQY up to 12%. The emission peak of bismuth-based quantum dots is characterized to be at 430 nm, FWHM of the PL spectra was ∼62 nm, large stokes shift (∼54 nm) made the bismuth-based quantum dots to be a great candidate for fluorescent tagging applications.
