Container made of thermoplastic, synthetic material and obtained by means of blow moulding for carrying hazardous fluid materials

The container (1) has an applied outer coating of an electrically conductive powder, which is sintered into the surface of the container, to provide an electrical conductivity which prevents electrostatic discharge. The coating may be applied to the full surface area of the coating, or is applied as perpendicular safety strips, encompassing the container in vertical and horizontal directions. The coating is pref. provided by Cu or Zn powder, the container used as a pallet container with a pallet (3) of wood, plastics, or steel having a wire mesh mantle (4), electrically coupled to the surface coating.
