Facile approach to prepare TiO2 nanofibers via electrospinning as anode materials for lithium ion batteries

TiO2 is considered to be a promising alternative anode material for lithium ion batteries. In this work, TiO2 nanofibers have been successfully fabricated via electrospinning. The as-prepared products are characterized by X-ray diffraction, nitrogen adsorption–desorption and transmission electron microscopy. TiO2 nanofibers are promising as anode materials for lithium ion batteries, which show good cycling performance and excellent rate capacity.
