Effect of Protein Level on Slaughter Index of Beef Cattle

【Objective】 For the purpose of different protein level effect on beef cattle slaughter index.【Method】 Five levels of protein feed stuff were designed and fed 5 groups of beef cattle and compared with no protein group as control.【Result】The beef carcass fat and eye muscle erea were larger when fed higher protein level,and which improved the carcass quality and carcass measure index.The protein level influenced the weight of organs mainly on head,skin,liver,kidney,gallbladder,bladder and diaphragm.There was no regular effect on the weight of digestion system,heart,lung,spleen.【Conclusion】The increase of beef cattle slaughter index could be achieved by the way of complement protein.
