Experiment instrument for determining thermal expansivity of metal

2014
The utility model relates to an experiment instrument for determining thermal expansivity of metal. The experiment instrument comprises a cuboid case, wherein a heating pipe is arranged at the lower part in the case, and a heat conduction trough made of aluminum or aluminum alloy is formed in the upper part of the heating pipe; a large groove is formed in the lower part of the heat conduction trough, and the heating pipe is mutually clamped with the heat conduction trough through the large groove; a small groove is formed in the upper part of the heat conduction trough, and a positioning pin is arranged at one end of the small groove. Aiming at the defects and deficiencies of the existing instrument, the experiment instrument adopts the heating pipe to heat and transfers heat to the heat conduction trough made of aluminum or aluminum alloy; the temperature of the heat conduction trough can be uniform and stable by utilizing high thermal conductivity and large specific heat capacity of aluminum. A plurality of kinds of long and thin samples can be embedded in the small grove formed in the upper part of the heat conduction trough in a close arrangement manner. The experiment instrument is convenient to use, and the detection result is precise.
