Finite Element Analysis on Temperature Field of Spontaneous Combusting Gangue Heap

The transient temperature governing equation at any point of spontaneous combusting gangue heap is founded.The initial conditions and boundary conditions are determined and calculated on the assumption that the inner convection and heat exchange doesn't exist.The inner heat releasing intensity is obtained based on the theory of oxygen consuming and the finite element model of temperature field of spontaneous combusting gangue heap is derived.Based on the finite element model of temperature field,and related initial conditions and boundary conditions,the spontaneous combusting 30(radius of bottom)×30(height)m gangue heap model is divided into 527 units and 2 029 nodes by using the 8-node hexahedron in ANSYS software;Then,the transient temperature is calculated through simulation.After an error analysis on the temperatures,it shows that this finite element mathematical model is reliable and accurate.Finally,related temperature field is also analyzed on the basis of the calculating results.
