Determination of turbulent transfer coefficients in plane incompressible flows

Expressions for the components of the fourth-rank turbulent-viscosity tensor and the Reynolds stress tensor are derived using a mathematical model of turbulent transfer which incorporates the Langevin equations for describing the motion of turbulent moles and a procedure for averaging the flow parameter fluctuation that is analogous to that used in molecular physics. The empirical coefficients used in the mathematical model are determined by analyzing available experimental data
