IDENTIDAD CIUDADANA DESDE UNA PERSPECTIVA PSICOSOCIOCULTURAL. UNA LECTURA CUALITATIVA

En esta ponencia se analizaran las respuestas de jovenes escolarizados a una serie de preguntas que interpelan su accion ciudadana desde una propuesta teorico-metodologica enmarcada en la perspectiva psicosociocultural. Elaborada para el estudio de las significaciones y valoraciones atribuidas al concepto de ciudadania, se interpretan las respuestas a partir de una construccion y operativizacion de categorias teoricas referidas a indagar especificamente la dimension ciudadana de la identidad del sujeto (Kriger y Fernandez-Cid, 2012a). Se piensa la ciudadania como un atributo que, pudiendo ser conceptualizado externamente al sujeto, puede convertirse en un aspecto de su identidad a traves de los relatos de ciudadania que se incorporan como herramientas culturales (Wertsch, 1998) para la referencia al si-mismo. Con este aporte se profundizan otros trabajos presentados (Kriger y Fernandez-Cid, 2011, 2012a, 2012b) que versan alrededor de esta tematica, mostrando resultados desde una investigacion cualitativa que nos permite establecer relaciones significativas entre el modo de comprender la accion personal del sujeto en el espacio social y ciudadano y el modo de conceptualizarse a si-mismo. Para este trabajo, ponemos en discusion un recorte que muestra como las respuestas que ponderan las practicas morales individuales (Kriger y Fernandez-Cid, 2012a) evitan las practicas politicas explicitas y las de accion directa. A QUALITATIVE APPROACH The aim of this paper is analyze the responses of young students to questions that challenge their civic action from a theoreticalmethodological approach in the psycho-socio-cultural perspective. Developed for the study of the meanings and values attributed to citizenship, we interpret the answers from theoretical categories referring to citizenship identity investigation (Kriger & Fernandez-Cid, 2012a). We understand citizenship as an attribute that can be externally conceptualized from the subject, and it can become an aspect of their identity through narratives that are incorporated as cultural tools (Wertsch, 1998) for reference to self. With this contribution we continue the analysis of other papers (Kriger & Fernandez- Cid, 2011, 2012a, 2012b), showing results from a qualitative research that allows us to establish meaningful relationships between the way of understanding the personal action of the subject in social space and citizenship. For this work, we discussed answers that shows how the youths, when shows individual moral practices (Kriger & FernandezCid, 2012a) avoids explicit politics and practices of direct action.
