Discusses the elements that make up the cultural mediation in libraries, dealing with information activities unregistered. Reflecting on the playing field of librarians in public libraries spaces, there is a need to find new references and parameters about the possibilities of cultural mediation. The goal is to focus on aspects of the mediation of information, reading mediation and mediation of literary reading configured as actions interact, ownership and knowledge production.
