Study of Leucite-Bearing Rocks in Air and Under Various P — T Conditions

There have been several experimental investigations on leucite-bearing rocks to determine the nature of their parent magma. Some atmospheric studies of these rocks by Yagi and Matsumoto (1966), Sobolev et al. (1975) and Fyfe (quoted in Carmichael 1967) are discussed first. Results of investigation on synthetic and natural rocks under various P — T conditions are described later.
