Power equalisation device

Provided is a power equalisation device whereby the power that is supplied to a manufacturing line from outside can be equalised even when a plurality of elements are simultaneously manufactured at different locations. In order to achieve this, a power equalisation device comprises: a power demand prediction function that predicts power consumption when a plurality of elements are being manufactured simultaneously at different locations of a manufacturing line or a metallic material manufacturing facility; and a power equalisation control function that, when the power consumption predicted by the power consumption prediction function exceeds a prescribed value causes power to be discharged by the manufacturing facility or manufacturing line to a power accumulation device, so that the power that is supplied to the manufacturing facility or manufacturing line from an external power system is no more than a prescribed value.
