Endoscopic plasma radiofrequency ablation of hypertrophic rhinitis 358 cases

Objective:Comparison and evaluation in inferior turbinectomy and endoscopic plasma radiofrequency ablation of hypertrophic rhinitis.Methods:Retrospective analysis of 358 patients accept in inferior turbinectomy and endoscopic radiofrequency ablation Results.Where 178 cases in inferior turbinectomy,180 routine endoscopic radiofrequency ablation.Results:After 6 months to one year follow-up,in inferior turbinectomy total effective 92.61%,endoscopic radiofrequency ablation total effective 97.22%,both of no significance (P0.05),former postoperative bleeding by 8.98%,while the latter do not.Conclusion:Inferior turbinectomy and endoscopic plasma radiofrequency ablation of hypertrophic rhinitis similar.Both in anaesthesia,very safe and effective.But endoscopic radiofrequency ablation has a simple,no cuts,easy operation,intraoperative clear,less postoperative hemorrhage,and other features.
