Supercontinuum generation in a highly birefringent photonic crystal fiber seeded by a low-repetition rate picosecond infrared laser

In this article, the generation of a visible ps polarized-supercontinuum in a new highly birefringent fiber was demonstrated together with the mechanisms involved.
