Thermal effect of doudle - eccentric -end-pumped rectangle Nd:GdVO_4 crystal

Based on the analytic analysis,temperature field and pumped-face thermal distortion field of a rectangle Nd:GdVO_4 crystal double-eccentric-end-pumped by diode lasers having Gaussian intensity distribution are researched.The general expression of a rectangle Nd:GdVO_4 crystal interior temperature field and thermal distortion field of pumped-face were obtained.Some relevant parameters,which would influence laser crystal temperature field distribution,were quantitative analysis.As the research is a general situation of a diode laser double-eccentric-end-pumped laser crysal,the results are more according to the actual situations of lasers.This method can also be applied to analyze thermal problems of other laser crystals and will be theoretical established for effectively resolve thermal problem in laser systems.
