The invention discloses a passivation method for a beta-phase grain-shaped sharp point of ZChSnSb11-6. According to the method, a rare earth element of lanthanum is added during smelting, then tempering is performed, and accordingly the fatigue property and the friction property of babbitt are improved. The passivation method has the beneficial effects that the cost is low and the production efficiency is high. Lanthanum is added to the babbitt for refining the grain and improving the wear resistance and hardness of the babbitt, then tempering is performed, and the beta-phase grain-shaped sharp point is changed. The Sn-based babbitt can be used as a bearing bush material or can be drawn into a wire for a cladding material.
