The invention belongs to the field of steel for a binding band, and particularly relates to an ultra-high strength package binding band with the tensile strength more than or equal to 1250MPa, and a manufacturing method of the package binding band. The invention is characterized in that the ultra-high strength package binding band is ultra-high strength alloy steel which comprises the components by weight percent: 0.15-0.45% of C, 0.25-1.80% of Si, 1.0-2.5% of Mn and the balance Fe and unavoidable impurities. By adopting the alloy steel raw material with the chemical components and controlling the working procedure of continuous heat treatment in the production process, the tensile strength and the elongation of the package binding band are greatly improved, wherein the tensile strength of the package binding band is more than 1250MPa, and the elongation of the package binding band is more than 12%, so that the industrial requirements on the ultra-high strength package binding band are fully met.
